Two cockroaches and a giant spider means Vicky has now been named Chief Cockroach Catcher (CCC). Building site this morning – digging and clearing the site around the school. Plastering on some extremely wobbly scaffolding eventually ended up in two local builders collapsing into heap.

Visiting the IN medical centre in the next village (Kindi) was a real eye-opener. Old and torn posters adorned the walls – lots of pictures to follow upon return. I think what struck us all today was the environment of the medical centre – although the staff there are doing a great job there is still a lot of room for extra resources and building TLC.

Football followed today and Johnny (the American) annoyed us all with his American flag and matching cap. Although he did attempt to sing along to his national anthem, he was somewhat unsuccessful – especially as he didn’t know the words.
